The squads will take part in the Yorkshire Junior Cricket Festival (formerly known as the Taverners competition).

Lightcliffe only had boys attending the BdJCL Under 15 trials as boys at other ages opted to trial (successfully in may cases!!) for the Halifax League teams.

All three of our U15 boys attending were selected!

Congratulations to leg spinning all-rounder Sam W, opening bowler Oliver F and wicket-keeper batsman Monty R on their selections.

Additionally Monty, sponsored by Aquarod, has been asked to captain the side.

The fixtures take place over the Spring Bank holiday week when all involved will be hoping for better weather – last year the Bradford Under 15s were eliminated without a ball being bowled in their 3 group fixtures!

Lightcliffe is the venue for Bradford’s first fixture on Spring Bank Monday 26th May with Sheffield being the visitors - 11 am start.

On the Tuesday, New Farnley is the venue for Leeds/Wetherby and on Thursday 29th May the Bradford boys travel to Barnsley.

The semi-final is the following day Friday 30th May with the final on a Sunday in June.
